Matt Carlin, who mixed and mastered our debut CD "Clear and Open Sky" is making news as an up-and-comer in the music biz, and featured in an article on the Montgomery County Community College website.
Carlin, who works with Grammy nominated music engineer and producer David Ivory, is a 2004 Fine Arts grad and alumnus at MCCC and works with bands alongside Ivory in his Montgomery County studio.
"It's cool seeing the business side of working in a studio. It's stuff that you don't get to experience by just going to classes," said Carlin, who recently became a voting member of the Grammy Association based on his work on national recording projects, including Candlight Red's "The Wreckage", nominated for a 2011 Grammy.
